Costs and Schedules BE-LITE currently offers a "new patient special" for $160.
New patients pay $160 for the first four weeks of treatment. This includes the initial medical consultation, an EKG, a nutrition counseling session and prescribed medications (typically phentermine and 5-HTP). Patients return one week later for a follow-up consultation so adjustments can be made to the dosage of medication, if necessary. At that visit, medications are prescribed for the next three weeks. Thus, the "new patient special" includes an initial visit, one return visit, an EKG and 4 weeks of oral medications for $160. The cost of subsequent visits is $75 plus the costs of the medications. Patients must have an EKG every three months while receiving medication. The EKG can be done either at BE-LITE or by the patient's private physician.
